Home visits

Yesterday (Friday) was our first full day of Home Visits.  It was filled with laughter and tears as we shared life with the children and families our church family and the Food for the Hungry team are partnering with to create a place where life has possibilities.  As we walked the streets to the homes we saw indications of development, small store fronts, internet access businesses, churches and professional services.

In our debrief it was unanimous the high point of the day in each of our lives was spending time with children we support as a church.  It is hard to convey the importance or our sponsorship and the letters and pictures we send.  Each one is saved and treated like precious treasure.  An act of a few minutes is priceless in these childrens eyes.

The hospitality of our sponsored children families was overflowing.  In the afternoon all three of the home visits I had the privilege of being a part of, there was a large plate of food overflowing with gratitude.  The presentation of the food beat any 5-Star dining establishment.

Thank you for your prayers, please pray specifically for our health, the days are full.  Especially pray for the Food for the Hungry Team.  They are an amazing group of individuals that have made a positive impact for Christ.
